Algirdas Myzolas memorial in Antakalnis Cemetery
Algirdas Mykolas Brazauskas was born in Rokiškis in 1932 and died in Vilnius in 2010. He was a Lithuanian politician credited with negotiating with the Soviet communists to achieve Lithuania's independence. He served as President of Lithuania and also as Prime Minister of Lithuania for two terms: 1993–1998 and 2001–2006. Algirdas Myzolas is buried in Antakalnis Cemetery in Vilnius.
