The museum's director, Bjeshkë Guri, stated that the exhibition delivers messages filled with the complex emotions that only war can evoke. Although this museum carries the weight of profound stories, it lacked support from state institutions. Marigona Shabihu, director of YIHRS in Kosovo, mentioned that over the past five years, efforts to secure a public space for the museum have failed due to the reluctance of institutions. She added that, for now, the museum will operate temporarily in a private space. Petrit Halilaj, whose works were part of the exhibition, said that through his drawings, he shared the bitter experiences of war. The museum will include personal belongings, video testimonies, and curated exhibits that illustrate the experiences of children during the war in Kosovo.» These photos were taken in July 2025 and show a selection of views of the Children of War Museum.
