in the Cemetery of Lleida, Monument to the victims of the bombings, 1937-1938 On November 2, 1937 –during the Spanish Civil War- the Fascist Italian aviation bombed the city of Lleida. On that day 12.000 kg of bombs were dropped in the city, resulting in 700 casualties. The small monument placed in the St Joseph department in the cemetery of Lleida is a tribute to the victims of the bombings in 1937 and 1938. These photos were taken in September 2019.
