Monument to the victims of fascism in Kraków
The monument to the victims of fascism in Krakow is an imposing granite monument featuring five people with expressionless faces that dominates Kamienskiego Street at the southern end of the former Plaszow concentration camp. It was constructed in 1964 by Ryszard Szczypiński and designed by architect Witold Cęckiewicz. At the back It bears an inscription in Polish that says: “In homage to the martyrs murdered by Nazi genocide in 1943–1945.” These photos were taken in March 2023.
