Footprints commemorating the Baltic Way 23.08.1989

According to the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia «the Pëdas (Footprints) memorial markers, carved in granite, are located in the three Baltic capitals and commemorate the Baltic way of 23 August 1989. The author is Lithuanian artist Gitenis Umbrasas. Each memorial was unveiled in 2013 as a gift from the City of Vilnius». «Pëdas» (Footprints) is placed in Vilnius in front of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Stanislaus and St. Ladislaus This photo was taken in April 2025.
